The desire to share, to make as many people as possible benefit from his creations are at the genesis of Maison Milliet. Making its hand-painted decorations accessible, promoting French creation and manufacture and safeguarding the know-how of yesteryear are the keystones of the brand.

Alexandre Poulaillon, painter and decorator, therefore created Maison Milliet at the beginning of the year, a new brand of wallpaper, printed in his workshop in Riedisheim in Alsace.

Figurative or abstract motifs, sophisticated trompe l'oeil and material effects, each print is the result of an original creation by Alexandre Poulaillon. He paints by hand prototypes of decorations drawn from the know-how of dominoterie (the ancestor of roll wallpaper) and then digitizes them and thus adapts them to all types of interior architecture.

Printed and created in his workshop in Riedisheim, Alsace, Maison Milliet papers are made with high quality printing on 190g/m² non-woven paper.

The use of water-based, solvent- and latex-free pigment inks guarantees a real depth of colour and good UV resistance.

To conclude, Maison Milliet is a rehabilitated know-how, a passionate and flawless artist, a French manufacture, a strong creativity at the service of a rare craft that deserves support.

It is no coincidence that the artist-craftsman was entrusted with the interior wall decoration of Christian Louboutin's boutiques....
